I built the website for Topeka Metro, and launched it in early 2018. The old site needed improvements for accessibility and mobile navigation, and needed modern code to support the site architecture. It was nearly impossible to use from a mobile device.
I implemented color- and icon-based navigation to help visitors find content more quickly. The greatest improvement is in the Routes listing, which now works as a series of large buttons for mobile users. The site gets about 35,000 views per month. View the site here: https://topekametro.org/
I also built the website for United Way of Greater Topeka. Their former website was difficult for staff to update, and almost impossible to use on a mobile device. We moved the content to a WordPress site, and optimized its display for multiple screen sizes. View that site here: https://unitedwaytopeka.org/
